Stop in for a cup of coffee

if you stay "in land" and try to find the local spots - - Naples is reasonable and very cool. I was there for a month many years ago, had a blast!

Speaking of bridges any one ever go over the old two lane Chesapeake bay bridge? My wife absolutely lost it going over it in a u haul trailering her car the day after we got married on our way to Norfolk. It was a bit of a squeeze! I think it is 22 miles!

you know - if the weather craps out I may have to try to see that place again... really sucked to have been THERE and not allowed to go in...

since we're on the topic, planning a family vacation for next spring/early summer. Anyone know of a good place along the gulf coast of florida? Went to Destin last year and it was great, but wanting to go farther south, maybe St Pete area
We were in Ft Myers in January of 2015. Loved the sea shell island, Sanibel.

oh yea - see!!? Been all the way out on the Keys - there IS a reason I don't remember that one so well... hehehehe
Key West was a big surprise. Very nice. A lot more genuine and hospitable than we expected. I suppose the remote location makes it less attractive for the jet set, I dunno.
We stayed in Marathon about half way out to Key West. A lot cheaper (There's a Holiday Inn Express there) and they have a dolphin rescue center that is really worth a visit.
