Looks like the chilly days are finally coming to an end. Prediction has us in 80s by end next week
 
I will stay in the truck then and watch! LOL or we can wait for better weather also. No rush on this side.
 
I added a few dozen minnows to the pond yesterday, have a few pounds coming next week. I do not think they lasted long! The bass were on minnow crack!
 
Send me your # again and might as well the addy also the same time and I will give you a ring sat when we see the weather, hows that work Bud?

Eddie came over today and we worked on his 340 until I had to go to class...

We got the push rods in and adjusted the rocker arms. We have about 1 1/2 turns of thread below the arm now...

Then we put on some "*****" parts to cover some areas that we didn't want painted and haven't installed the part yet (because they are not to be painted the same color as the engine and will be installed when the engine is dropped in the car).... Then we made some cardboard covers to cover the exhaust ports and fuel pump mounting pad from paint

I don't want to mess up his brand new powder coated intake from our infamous Cudachick with the engine harness, so we are going to install that after the engine is dropped in...
We have the engine all in primer now and Eddie is coming over today and we will finish painting the engine turquoise and then start gathering everything to mate the trans to the engine.... Then when that's done, we will pull the 318 out of his Dart and drop the 340 in...

Then get a new drive shaft from the local drive shaft shop, and then to the exhaust shop to connect the headers to the exhaust system and install a H or X pipe....

I use the roof flashing, sticks great and molds in perfect. The floor of the truck has it with no carpet and it holds up and the best part is I can hose it out! LOL
 
Going to work on getting the wiper stuff and heater back in today. Whada ya know 3 days in a row to work on the Car !!
