Stop in for a cup of coffee

soo.. trans is done other than the pan which i have to do in the car.... Stressful drilling into a 60 year old valve body.. installed a TF2 shift kit... didn't block the accumulator though, don't want it to be neck snapping everytime i take off easy.. :)

Might actually put the engine in on sunday... don't think i'm waiting on anything now.. Tested the headers on the engine and the oil filter clears by a mile (short filter, i could go long)

I haven't put the steering box in or draglink/tie rods.. will do that after the motor is in.. praying the headers clear the power steering. if not, i have hammers :)

In the staging lanes on the mountain first time run.

I had to shim the engine mount on the left side and dent the header a bit to clear the steering box.

I have 1961 mounts which lay flat on a stud.. if i need to raise the motor it's just a couple of washers.. didn't even think bout that :)

I'm running pancake mounts like for 72 on back so yea really easy to shim.

Well with all that good food, a few toddies, and a good movie you've all enjoyed it got really quiet the last couple hours.
I didn't get to fix that thermostat today. We went to drain some anti-freeze off and couldn't find the peacock on the custom radiator. :wtf:
Thought of just loosening the lower hose but didn't want to make a mess on the garage floor. Ya I had it fancy painted a couple years...ugh!!
Pouring down rain all morning so the driveway wasn't an option. I'll wait for a better day.
Hope tomorrow is a great day for you!!

Jeez. Still off a few days. Frickers don't want to answer phone or call back.
.
I guess they feel they don't have to?? I know a couple years ago you were eager to move someday. I hope it all works out for you guys.

It is a lot of work for me here. But we will probably not move. Diesel is almost 7 a gallon here. Hoping it gets better

Well Movie over and going to do some YouTube drag racing and hope Jaws or Dave posts some pictures of his track time. Also waiting for Scott to post pictures of his new tranny.

Morning just a quick drive thru. Raining out. Going to hit wally mart. For supplies for the week. Then get ready for the Birthday Party. Should be an interesting time.

On the drive up to Pettit Jean Mt early Friday morning 7:45 am.
Cleared up and was nice all day, hope today is as well.
Mt was covered in foggy misty weather, can't see the top.
Everyone have a super Saturday, as I wounder if the nurses made it ok while John's wife was gone @Sublime one

Morning!
Brekkie, then buddy’s truck needs an oil change. We also need to tweak the front end, two alignments and something is still off. Think we wil tackle it tomorrow though.
