Stop in for a cup of coffee

We are actually making some paint progress. And on serious note with the amount of window glass a locked door is just kind of funny for security. I got overruled during design phase. She was good with creating choke point at access with narrow bridge over creek, she was fine with dog leg in road to impede speed of approach, she was fine with high ground covering approach, but when we got to corner turrents on the house and gunslot windows and she threw her boss card. And I quote” we are not going to live in a castle” end quote. Me, I just shrugged and said why not?

There is two castles i know of, one north of here and one near winnipeg. The one by winnipeg was disassembled in england and shipped here. 50 ish years ago

As long as the range markers and TRPs are in place..

Each side of the house does have a range card right?? I know from my front door it is 121 yards with a 2% downslope the first 52 yards and a 4 up slope to the street. Oh wait you know that you backed out that driveway with a full truck and trailer...

Semi productive afternoon.
Accepted responsibility of the car club T-Shirt inventory as the gentlenan looking after it is stepping back from car club duties. I think hes one of the founding members, getting a little long in the tooth.

Then went and paid for some bedroom furniture my sister wanted.
Last round in quonset, fixed up a battery powered trailer mover, and moved a cumbersome trailer into its spot.

Rant time. Why the hell is tongue weight so much on a double watercraft trailer? I couldnt lift it, the jack wheel wont steer. Such bullshit. Thats why i decided to sort out the trailer mover.
Back to gainful employment tomorrow.

Oh that is funny right there! Just under 80 yards to dog leg. 209 to the bridge, 140 to Corner post on opposite side. And fifty and ninety to respective wood lines on opposite sides. I mean…… if you were actually measuring?

Ok done Cheryl is gone hitting golf balls with the GD. I got a drink to join this party Kansas whiskey (yes it's a brand) with cubes. And a whiskey that TMM @toolmanmike has YET to sample...who'd thought that was possible??

Well my pin arrived today. They sent me the wrong one. :BangHead: It came in a cute pink box though. Who wants a pin?

Wow had to go back and look again I just thought it was a .45??
That's what I come with. Well 0.443" but so many of the calibers are marketing numbers. What's the typical bullet diameters for .45 ACP cartridge?

Also it says Colt Model 19?1 and looks like a 1911 with a skeletonized hammer.
I was trying to figure out who it was made for. France has National Gendermaria, but I'm sure some other countries do as well.
