I polished lots of plastic with a buffer and compound and works good but never a window on a soft top.
The window mfrs got smart. Less effort into sealing the glass and put dessicant into the channels that hold glass together. Once dessicant is saturated, glass fogs up. Theres som business that drills two holes in one pane and fills glass with a defog solution, drains and plugs holes. Risky though. Glass could crack over time. They cannot be fixed and they have lost insulating factors
And if I was closer I'd hide your car and replace it with a broom in your parking spot. You guys were busy on my drive in. I’m all caught up. Halloween is one of my favorite days. I still dress up

That would be a good practical joke. And if I was closer I'd hide your car and replace it with a broom in your parking spot.
I did on my Landcruiser soft top, can't remember what I used but it worked. Now I'm thinking about what windshield to get for my UTV, friend told me don't get poly because it scratches, well, so much cheaper than the tempered glass shield ($1800) I'm wondering if I couldn't buff out/polish a scratch if I got one in the poly?I polished lots of plastic with a buffer and compound and works good but never a window on a soft top.
I just have two. Of course, they're big ones right out front. I might just leave the inner window out and wipe it down when it happens?? I think in a few weeks and the humidity drops it might be better. Just accept it or spend 30-40k for new windows we have a lot. Not ready that maybe after I sell the cars. When I built my house here 38 years ago I used Anderson high performance windows and sliding doors. Never have had a failure problem. Probably because they were made so long ago huh? Lol
Do it right you can have bifocals!I did on my Landcruiser soft top, can't remember what I used but it worked. Depends on how deep the scratches are but I have used fine sandpaper and then buffed and polished on my sons airplane windshield and worked good.I did on my Landcruiser soft top, can't remember what I used but it worked. For that kind of money I would live with itI just have two. Of course, they're big ones right out front. I might just leave the inner window out and wipe it down when it happens?? Yea on matt that's what I would do and don't let it water spot or be in the hot son all the time.@Frodee
Morning Fred. How should I care for my hood? Single stage matte. Just soap and water?
Thanks
I was going to mention something along that line, the cleaners that are used on airplane windows. Like the welding helmet lens that gets wiped with a glove or whatevers handy and then wonder why its so scratched up…Depends on how deep the scratches are but I have used fine sandpaper and then buffed and polished on my sons airplane windshield and worked good.
I wish. Pics after daylight..
