Over a month ago I printed out the driver's handbook in Vietnamese. Online. You cannot actually get the book itself at the DMV in Vietnamese ,here in Maryland. So I'm quite sure that she didn't study enough for the first time. They tossed her after five questions, she got four wrong. Then you have to take a week to take the next test. Next time she got through 12 questions before she got four wrong. Today she got through 19 out of 25 questions before she got four wrong. So I guess it's getting better. Lol. They do have online system for test questions which are also timed at 20 minutes. And I have helped her with that. It is in English. So I translated for her. And she has answered the questions. And most of the time gotten 23 to 25 correct each time. Don't know what happened today. But I guess next Tuesday will be doing it all over again. Lol..:BangHead:

Sounds like she's maybe just struggling with the testing environment a little.

Yes, she is actually very intelligent. But not used to being in America. Obviously the language thing is a barrier for her. But the tests are all administered in Vietnamese and I have given her the handbook in Vietnamese. She is quite beside herself now since three times she has not made it. I have told her that it's not as easy as you think it is. Not the same as getting a license in Vietnam. But she's a fighter and she will make it the next time. I will help her and study with her online more. We will see what happens

My Wally-world pressure washer gun managed to dismember itself last weekend. Trying to decide on trying to just replace the gun versus a new unit. I'm going to stick to electric... I don't need crazy pressure. I like this Westinghouse one that Lowes has available. It's got wheels like a shop vac so it won't tip as easily and you can pull it around on the driveway... They also have an optional 100 foot hose... since I need to clean up the siding that might be handy.

Hope she doesn't let it get in the way of smiling :steering:its got to be a beuityful fall day there, give her a smile and tell her we are all behind he.

Replacement would be my call. Yep, electric here also, 3.200lbs is all I need to use, Harbor F unit, sons love it, as do I.

My pressure washer is gas, but 12 years old. Somebody ( probably family ) broke the gun. I was able to buy a replacement online , Amazon I believe. Now going strong again.....

I bought a cheap 4 1/2" grinder at Menards. I need to grind down some metal fence posts on my parking spot. The previous owners had a dog kennel where I park my truck. They cut off the fence posts but didn't grind down the stubs and damn are they hard on the snow blower. It looks like a nice little grinder but you know how cheap is. 1 year warranty. I'll keep the receipt.

I still have the $12 no-name hammer drill I bought in 2002... I had to run a washing machine discharge hose through a block wall. It just keeps on chugging along

I think the weather guessers missed on today's guess. Yesterday's guess was mid 70s all week. Makin' up my lunch and notice that the long sleeves I wear are almost insufficient :wtf: Look at the NWS and it's mid 60s out there with 25 mph gusts. Look further and they are guessing a 40-50% chance of snow in the Sierra Nevadas today :realcrazy::lol: Last Saturday it was 90° at that BBQ festival we did just an hour away from here

Done! That grinder will be handy for sharpening lawn mower blades. This is for Veterans Day. My wife requested it. I didn't know. (Green lights)
