Good morning everyone, Mikie has been busy, my cousin female and 54 had a stroke and hard attack Thursday night, I have been helping, caring for my family.
2 brothers and a sister, two grown children, its been ... ah....a little crazy here, ..
 
They have a small tool kit there I want to see for under the seat of the truck just in case.

HF stuff is OK. My rule of thumb with them if it can kill you dont buy it there. I do like their Pittsburg line of wrenches. Have a metric set use it alot. Dont think I have used the snap on in a while.
 
That time of year. Just found out my step mom is on the end. Talked to her the other day had no clue who I am. Worst part of this my frucking brother lives there to save money, cheap fruck. She has had cancer for over a year and he did not even call. I found out from the hospice nurse. Funeral I might get arrested at! Asshole.

The SAE Crows Foot set I bought sucks.... it's a Pittsburgh

Happier with the Quinn line stuff... haven't tried their Icon line... not sure anyone has?

That’s really tough. I’m sorry to hear that. It’s nice if you to step up and help out.
 
Just FYI If you have a New Holland around you they make the snap on wrenches and sockets. Thier brand same thing 1/3 the price.

Yup. Same rule here. No grinder discs unless they are name brand and made in north america or europe.
Actually had a flat bar (wonder bar imitation) break on me. That was a wake up call that even junk hand tools can hurt ya.
Pittsburg line has been decent. I think they predate HF. Remember the IPS catalogs?

Go with a lenox diamond blade no looking back and they do not wear smaller. Hell they last me a few years each. $20 or so well worth it.

My Pittsburg stuff lives in the car or jeep. Most of the stuff in the shop is Craftsman with some SK, and a mix of other brands. Got the impact sockets from McMaster - all US made Wright?

Nope, I actually very rarely go there. It is a ways away. But I need a cheap small vise I can make portable for an amours class I will be attending in a couple of weeks. I will attach it to a small piece of wood which I can then just clamp or unclamp on table in classroom.

I am pissed. Kid want to go up there but she is at the end trying to stop it since she wont even know who she is and last memories stick forever. Dam wife put that in her head. Her wish I know is dont dote on me stubbon German like my dad. Incredable woman, went therough two revolutions in Argentina, two husbanc=ds, teacher of 2nd graders for 30 years.

I have several icon pliers and I also got the icon long ratchet wrench set. Quality tools and I use them a lot. I like if you break a tool you walk in and get an immediate replacement,no questions asked. Not a lot of companies left to do that without a hassle.

Your right about hte last impressions but on the other hand some things people just have to do even if it means learning the hard way.
