what axle potentially would come behind a 318 in a 72 duster, 7.25 or 8.75?

no, buddy of mine and i are going to look at a 72 this evening, i was curious as to what was most common in that year behind a 318, ill look when i get there
 
You are lucky If you have an 8 1/4 behind a 318 .....many 318 autos had 7 1/4 like my 75 dart

74 was first year for 8 1/4 in an a body

That's unbelievable. Barbed wire fence wasn't a clue? Their dad played golf with the judge?
