Got up to 53* today and amazing for this time of year. Around here always in the below 0* temp.
Was a gorgeous day for sure. Got the closure almost finished for the front step. One small strip to put in, but it needs a window. Ocean sits and watches through that opening around 5:00 when kim is due home.

So planning a boys weekend trip in the spring for me and my soon to be 8 year old. Originally thinking about taking him to Diggers Dungeon in North Carolina but that’s 16 hours one way. A bit much for a weekend trip.

Instead, he suggested Route 66(so proud of him haha) but that’s like a two week trek. So instead I think I’m gonna take a run into central/southern Illinois, pick up Route 66 there and stop in St Louis for the night, then the following day, take Route 66 across Missouri, stay in either Joplin or Rolla maybe KC, then cannonball it back on Sunday.

Just got back from our granddaughter's 5th/6th grade holiday choir concert. I had two preforming, and both did a great job.
Checked the block and done.

This is tempting for me. I love The wagoneers.
When I was a kid in the desert we lived outside of Barstow, a rural route for the USPS. Our mailman had a right hand drive Wagoneer. The guy drove down from Big Bear up in the San Gabriel Mtns. between the desert and the civilized world  90 minutes each way everyday to get to work at the Post Office. :realcrazy:

I am a Patriots fan by birth, and follow the Stillers due to geography...
Ya Pats are having a tough year. Be interesting to see what happens with Bill?? Does he go or does he stay??
