Does not surprise me one bit. That was the same case with the Cummins 5.9 that went into dodge trucks. But the gooberment mandated additional controls non emissions related and that resulted in them having to go with the 6.7. I did the the CAD work for them.I got to check out the new straight 6 twin turbo this weekend (guy i went to get my seats from is one of the top engineers and had a test truck at his house... ) Those things run sooo smooth you can't really tell they are running from inside the truck and make great power...
One thing he told me i found interesting was they would have kept making the hemi forever if they could have.. and that each one made only cost chrysler $2100..
How much snow are they expecting you'll end up with Pete?
Have a safe trip Pete.Talking up to a foot about 40 mi north from us, I was out and about 4-5 in now but compacted. Only 6mi to my sweetie’s work place, I think I’ll drive her to work.

I do remember valiantly trying to squeeze in there to drive it. To no avail! Maybe a couple more toddies and I could have pulled it off. Just not many folks my size when that truck was built!Well going to lower the seat in the old truck today so some of you big guys going to MITP can get behind the steering wheel.
Think the only way to get you behind the wheel is extend the cab about 2 feet. LOLI do remember valiantly trying to squeeze in there to drive it. To no avail! Maybe a couple more toddies and I could have pulled it off. Just not many folks my size when that truck was built!
Not a chance, people were tiny back then.Well going to lower the seat in the old truck today so some of you big guys going to MITP can get behind the steering wheel.
