Stop in for a cup of coffee

Only downside on single is not much room for error. Sanding out goofs not so good on metallic. But not looking for 'show' quality paint, so might go with it.

What you have painted looked good when I was there.

Well got three of the four lift arms painted yesterday, neighbors kept stopping by all day so it was not a heavy progress day for sure.

"hey Ray, whatcha doin'?" "hey Ray, whatcha doin'?" "hey Ray, whatcha doin'?" "hey Ray, whatcha doin'?" "hey Ray, whatcha doin'?" ....

good stuff - when are you thinking it'll be ready to go?
Kinda broke right now and still need to buy paint and seat cover, but gonna assemble everything now. So, could be 'road ready' later this year without paint. Still have a good bit of work on getting things together. Not gonna register and insure it just in time to park it for the winter.

Do the grundy insurance it is super cheap! It still looks good the way it is at least to cruise around in for sure.

$$ & time.. so hard to get them to come together...

I've been picking up stuff as I could along the way. Like the carpet I got 3 years ago. Full body seal kit I got way back. Had almost all the door stuff a while ago, so they are done now. 'extra' tail lights, so will go through and pick best parts and assemble 2 decent ones... Had the car near 8 years now... So now I have more time than money I will do some work.

I am paying 250 year full coverage, 100 mile towing reinbursment, spare parts coverage 100/300 k, with a 8 cyl! Four door might have something to do with it though! I think it might give a lodging allowance for breakdowns also not positive.

I just added mine to the insurance I already had - didn't mention ANY upgrades - just a 71 Scamp.. not too bad $$ wise
I'll check both ways. I don't plan to drive it much till it's complete, so not going to put $ on insurance that could be going into getting it done. At some point I suppose I will say close enough though.

Grundy can do a online quote in a few minutes no obligation, just need the vin. to get a rough Idea. No reason to have it if you are not using it for sure!
