Stop in for a cup of coffee

Damn yellow jackets have a ground nest going under the center window of the garage along the front walk. I just sprayed a half a can of Raid Wasp and Hornet killer down their hole and the returning ones aren't happy about it!

Back in the garage now with the door closed! I'll give them the other half of the can after it gets dark. I may not kill them all but I'm gonna put a serious hurting on their nasty little stingers.

I hate yellow jacket hornets with a passion. Useless nasty insect that the planet could do without.

I just went back and read the thread. I can see why Joey removed it. It was going south in a hurry. It wasn't George's fault. LOL

Well in all fairness. I was told to stop posting something in my signature even if it was the truth or face a week off. Me being me I said why stop at a week. LOL.
 
Naw, I think whoever closed it just found it and read through it. When we see a thread like that we close it before it gets worse. We don't need the world to think this site is all about gay bashing. We don't need the feds to show up. If it was posted in the news and politics section it might still be there.

Bees are fine, pollinators for the world's crops and flowers.

Hornets and wasps are just nasty insect predators. They even hunt and kill spiders. Yellow jackets are the lowest form of hornet. They eat garbage. They're the only bee you ever find swarming around a trash can. Nothing more than flies with a bad attitude and a stinger full of venom.

A few years ago I was doing cleanup of a garden area with riding mower. Ran over a nest of them and got nailed in six different spots simultaneously. I thought I was OK till I could barely swallow water an hour later. Off to the emergency room we went...

Can't think of one, actually. We really don't do much flag waving here. The nationalists/racists have pretty much kidnapped our flag. Theconfederate flag is common in the US car crowd, though. Imported along with the cars, the music and the sideburns.

You should hit the nest overnight when they are all in there and "sleeping". It's cooler at night and they are less active then....

I actualy want to see the "offending" post .....might actualy be funny or hold a lot of truth. No idea because i never even saw the thread in question
