I need to get with the program. Ted and I are heading to Cedar Rapids to check out Dave Johnson's new barrel picks. He has a American Single Malt from Yellowstone that sounds interesting. 100% malted barley and 110 proof.

I want my car to sit like this... sucks you can't put tall tires on the front of a '62... max i can go is 27" without cutting the valence which i won't do... so you have a big dopey looking wheel opening.. I mainly would need to get my rear down bout 1.5" more...

I also need some newer pics.. got the trim piece on and started rubbing out the car a bit..

For me it's a nothing going on around here so nothing to talk about. I need another project and the next car I'll be working on is not coming over till spring. :BangHead:
What are you getting in the spring? and you need a 62 dart...

BTW.. why is it so dead here lately? :(
My paint guy came yesterday afternoon and we started getting the panels ready for paint. Im helping, but mainly just watching and learning. I was never a paint and body guy......He should be here in an hour or so to continue...

Ahhh very nice.. thought you were getting a project for yourself :) at least with that it's someone elses money..
Yea I wasn't going to do another restoration for anyone but I need the income. Living on SS is tough with the price of everything going up and my income isn't.

Slowly picking away at some stuff. Workbench and cleaning the corners. Should take all day. Almost warm enough outside to go move some stuff. And burn cardboard.

I can't do bodywork.. i can paint "OK"... i just can't get bodywork smooth enough
Being out of bodywork for over 20 years now I find it harder to get things as straight and fast as I use to. I've forgotten little tips and tricks in my methods then it comes to me midway in the process.

Ya know, lookin' at it now, that '44 makes a good lookin' hot rod  . High School homie drove a '48 moredoor Seedan  dat sucker would fit like 8 of us in there
There's a 46 and 47 Fords in the neighbor's lot behind my house just rotting away and he won't sell them.
