A guy in town had a Crown conversion in his Corvair. 327 in the back seat I believe. It ran like a scalded dog but they used the original transaxle which wasn't a strong point.

Yeah, i really wanted a corvair.. but everything is just soo meh.. the 67's look great though

Had one here too. If I member right, the automatic they used in the Vairs was the same Glide they put in Impalers. With those funny spinning things out the sides added :lol:

My dad had a few of them when i was growing up, we took trips in them and ****.. only bad part was there **** **** all for heat.. probably his fault though..
 
I should be able to pay my house off by next october i think.. can't wait. Still have to save a bit too much for taxes/insurance every month but will be great to be rid of that debt.. woulda been paid off 10 years ago if i didn't get into a bad mortgage for a decade that cost me 100k :( **** BOA forever...
