Morning all...sunny and warm here in Florida. We're enjoying our time with the grand kids but ready to head for home in a couple days. Mike
@toolmanmike I had your same problems. I did some research, and it pointed to a few things. The first one was the statins I was on a low dose for cholesterol and blood pressure. The second was not taking a magnesium supplement. I lost 50 pounds a couple years ago and have kept it off I looked better but still felt like crap. One day I said F it I'm not taking the statins. At the same time I started taking a daily 250mg magnesium supplement. Within a week I felt better, two weeks I felt great like a 30-year-old again!! I slowly increased the magnesium supplement to 450mg a day.
I went in for a recent blood test and everything was great including my thyroid that was elevated, and they tried to medicate...I never took the pills. My LDL cholesterol has been a little high for years I did the research and started taking ginger root a possible cure. Several studies have had people take ginger root for three months and their LDL dropped up to 30 points. I get the powder cheap at the health food store. You can sprinkle it on food, I mix a little in my coffee in the morning. After a few days it tasted fine. Just have to remember to stir the bottom third of the cup when you get there and one big gulp. Make another cup and repeat. Being on the road no problem I bought a bottle of tablets take half in the morning and half at night.
I know with your heart you have a daily medication requirement. I'm sure though there are some natural supplements that might help you feel better.
