Stop in for a cup of coffee

I am off work all next week. I hope to spend a bunch of that time on the Charger. Plans are to see about getting it plumbed for brakes and fuel.

Looking at buying a power steering setup, my manual is insanely hard to turn, worse than any i have used in the past (i think it's the 20:1)... go bergman or straight from borgeson? Just wondering if bergman is a mopar place?

I think @PST is making one also.
well.. it's not the box, it's the whole kit i want so no hunting for brackets and ****.. i still have my original 62 box here but didn't want to source a LA pump/bracket and make hoses and **** so i went manual... i have no idea why this manual is so hard but i'm worried bout hurting the steering wheel due to how hard it is to turn.. plus i shouldn't have to fight with a car to drive it :) Then to figure out why the brakes are soo **** still

I put on another 15 miles or so yesterday... got something buzzing at speed under the dash making me insane.. will have to find it. Exhaust hitting the rear valance at idle... gotta fix all the little things. Can't stand rattles/clunks. Other than that not bad.. the motor is making a noise that might be terminal.. need to investigate, hoping it's the alternator making a odd clunking noise..

Morning!
Hovering around freezing, it needs to get colder, need the roads to stiffen up. Today i think i will do some shuffling, need shop crane soon. Sholud have the wheel tubs this afternoon, hope to get truck box done this week.

The buz can be the spedo cable is dry.
hmmm didn't even think of that.. sounds more like it's coming from the very left edge of the dash but could be anywhere really. And i know that cable is dry after sitting for 48 years... i should just remove the center of the cable since it's off by 20mph anyway.

They lost to a better team and no bad referee calls
Ahh Bills usually beat us during the season, and then we beat them in the playoff's I'll take that trade. On a positive note, my game time Chief's jersey finally gets washed. Yep hasn't been washed since the Chief's last loss way back in December 2023.

Stinky stinky

I don't watch football anymore (1 play 9 years ago made me never watch another game) but it was nice to see the Lions had a ok day yesterday

At least you're driving it

yeah, but i enjoyed it more before i drove it :) The 4.30s are a little annoying but with my tiny amount of power i will keep them.. once the brakes work properly i will feel 1000% better. I am very annoyed at them.. all brand new stuff and works for ****. Really wish i had kept drums.. Self actuating and SOOO much less pressure needed for the same stopping power.

What are the brakes now? Also new booster/master need to re adjust the pushrod.

Yeah, the shakedown and punch list on mind is going to be interesting. I did take an exhaust hanger strap and cut a couple of three inch pieces off to lower the exhaust pipes a bit. My old ones would rattle on the valence. Up side of riding in the convertible is that you can't hear a lot of the little noises

yeah, last time i put the exhaust on i had bout 1/4" between the pipe and valance, this time they are right on it, need to figure that out. And rtv the last pipe joint, i LOVE the band clamps but they leak where the band comes together.

UH not original :BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead:
