Here we go another thing going away Cam lube for points!
Dang, I bet I threw away a handful of those little capsules throughout the years. What kind of grease is it and can you use something else close?

Here we go another thing going away Cam lube for points!
We use so much of it, it's a threat to the environment
DOH!.jpg

I use it alot. I save all the little packs and pills for the customers. Prob use a tube a month. Only have one left. Prob silicone grease might work.

I GOT IT! Bacon Grease! Since it's an animal by-product it's compostable and environment friendly. Plus, every time the Distributor cap is removed, it will smell like breakfast.
But, but, but it melts at 140°-160°. That will make a mess inside the cap. It sure will smell good though.

Give the epa time they will find something wrong with that too and ban it too much red tape bull s—-

Those EPA peeps need to live downwind of a large piece of ground they use for broccoli farming. About the third day after harvest and they hit the remnants with the flail mower to ready it for composting and discing it back into the ground they will be on a new quest. "OMG! The wind must be blowing from the City Sewage Disposal Plant"

I used to use Blue Streak points so I never put any lube on them. I wonder what they used on those little red pads? Never had a set close up.

Those pads are to keep the advance points cam lubed evenly you should use cam lube also. They use cam lube basically to keep the parts that runs on the hex lubricated so it does not wear down, Thats all.

I know where you are coming from. Off to the Dr. today. I have a list of things to ask about. She always asks about depression. Of course I'm depressed. I'll be 70 in June and I can't5 imagine what the next 10 years will be like. That would bum anybody out. :BangHead:
60 is bad enough, just throw in a slipped disc and sciatica. Some days i wonder if i will make it to 70..

Panel almost all tacked in.
Discovery of the day, truck body metal is harder than the replacement panel. So as the tack weld cools it pulls the patch panel out and above the parent metal. Gap pulls closed as well. Smaller gap-smaller tack weld and less heat.
Slim chance i will get it all welded in today.

I'm 66. 3 Herniated discs over the years in back, surgery for sciatica, stomach hernia with a mesh but keeps getting bigger. Arthritis and bone on bone knees. Still kicking but it sucks. I feel your pain.

I have a bulged L3 and 4 disc. It acts up occasionally and is now. I should have it seriously looked at. It sure isn't doing me any favors.
