Could be worse. When my knee popped when I regained my senses there on the ground I was looking around for someone with a firearm that was just fired :eek: It was that loud. I was just walking to the Honda to ride home. BANG!!! and to the ground I went. Got up, got leg over bike, difficult to get right foot to the foot peg, then I knew something was wrong. I did manage to ride the bike around the block and back to where I began. Never did figure out if I tripped on something or the tendon just decided "I'm done! Nice knowin' ya!" My orthopedic surgeon told me afterwards " a total knee replacement would have been an easier project for me to do" :lol:

I didn't even get any disability $$ except for the time in the hospital after the surgery :lol: I could get up the 6 stairs to my control room for the plant on the crutches. It was boss's choice. "OK but disability pays me for 40 hours a week. If I have to show up here, you pay the same." I did get an assistant for the things that required mobility :lol:
 
Just got word a female instructor I have been developing and mentoring has ovarian cancer, they are pulling her ovaries this month. I don’t know her age exactly but she is less than forty. This just suks. She has the potential to be a great instructor. We will have to see how much energy she has since she already has a full time gig at a bank. Cancer suks
 
Just saw an interesting headline in the news. The CEO of Unitedhealthcare, my health insurance provider was apparently assassinated in NYC. Broad daylight in front of a Hilton in Manhattan. Incident caught on numerous cameras. Crazy!

Is that enough ? Or too much?
Power steering hose is done. Banging noise is struts. Bearings are bad. If he buys the parts car in the yard, the struts arent all that old. And tires are new.
Wind is crazy here, out in the open the snow is going sideways, whiteout conditions. Should quit soon.

Not too bad down here, we have high winds but not much snow and the wind just died down.

Well Hell! 24⁰ but feels like 14⁰ and wind picked up to 35mph. Light snow frozen on the road and windy enough that I was sliding all over. Needed 4wd. Couldn't go anywhere

Better if it's colder, then the snow going over the road doesn't stick.
