Stop in for a cup of coffee

When I was at the parts store, we had a Pinto wagon and a Vega wagon for parts delivery. I hate to say it but the Pinto was a better car.
I had to drive 1968 Econoline van, Ford of course, full of cores to be delivered to the main store. I still remember, that thing was so light in the front end. With all the weight in it I could barely make it there. LOL

We were at the tech inspection for one of the desert races and we had a :wtf: moment. A pickup and trailer go by with a Pinto on it. Not your run of the mill Pinto, long travel suspension, 10x31 tires, caged, painted in red white and blue similar to this

Then we saw Bill Stroppe's markings on it . Built by the same guy that built PJ's

Big Oly.

I banned football here since the drop to the knee thing which is a slap in my countries face and against NFLs rules at the time. Deport the assholes in my opinion. Power of the $$$$. Pissed some people off x mass! My house my rules!
Yep

That's no fun ... That's why I'm "That Guy" with the ridiculously bright fog lights. Hate driving with 15 feet of standard headlight visibility. No street lights out here
Yep. The lights on the wife's Envision are quite good. I used the low beams and fog lights all the way home. Headlight visibility was about 1/4 mile most of the way. Tail lights about an 1/8th. The last half hour close to home got a lot worse. I slowed down to about 50. good thing we were just about home.

Oops, I got myself in trouble with the wife. "Is that all the Christmas cookies Mom sent home with us?" I told her I didn't want them around. . Oops. If they are here we will eat them and none of us need them.

Totally understand! I have put on a solid five pounds this Xmas! Next year I am going to track how many sticks of butter we use during Xmas week. Cookies, cheese cake, scampi, bread, the list of just pure crap I have eaten all week is endless. But it was sooooo good! I can’t wait till next year!

I can wait. MIL is a great cook and baker, but I have eaten 10 X my normal amount of flour and sugar for the year. I'm afraid to step on the scales. It will take me a week of granola bars and breakfast cereal to get my digestive tract back in working order again.

A cup of Coffee and some YouTube................... I'm watching the latest Steve Morris Engines video. Even though it is about Race engines and a lot of turbo stuff, it is still very interesting, and he does a great job explaining things.
I watch him also, very informative stuff. His wagon makes my heart go pitter patter.
