Stop in for a cup of coffee

Gosh that is beautiful, Mike. It would be hard to find a nicer Mopar out there. Your long wait paid off. And that drivetrain in a convertible...you better warn an unsuspecting passenger if you are in the mood to open it up.
I had a '64 Fury, just a 318 4-door, but it's my favorite of all the Mopar's I've ever owned. Around 1985, was in my 20's, scraped together $600...it had freezing a/c. Even with the 318 I had it up to 120 for a long stretch on Alligator Alley...looking back on the fact I didn't blow a tire and get killed, I know someone is watching over me. But it was just such an easy driving car, just the right size. I remember taking my Dad for a ride and he commented on how comfortable I looked driving it.

Speaking of Dad, here's a couple pics of him yesterday, my sister and I helped him celebrate his 80th birthday.

Yeah I like that pic too...seeing him happy. Now if we can just keep him from chasing after the ladies. The one he's sitting next to is his "girlfriend" and she enjoys the attention but then Dad gets to be too "hands on" and her husband is very unhappy about it. The only other thing that holds his attention is piano playing, I am looking for some large-print chord charts of songs to send him (he has his own method of playing based on chords.)

some habits die hard...

I REALLY hate plunking down that kind of cash for a sight unseen car! Pictures look good....

Fly in and drive home! Sounds like a fun road trip.

A few days ago I heard some activity outside the window and saw a bunch of young jays and cardinals playing together out there. I took this pic of the jays doing something I've never seen before. Not that I ever watched birds that much till this year...
