Stop in for a cup of coffee

Some of you may remember this tree. Received from you all after my grandfather passed away back in 2021. Then that summer, a deer broke it off. I left it alone in the orchard since. It is the sole remain i g apple tree of the 3, as it has regrown somehow and has buds this year!

Had a nice visit with my son this weekend and spent the whole time talking about building a old style hot rod.
I'm really hopping we can do that before I get much older.

Piece of friendly advice? Make time, find the money etc. the last thing my grandfather and I did together was hang the 1/4 panels on my dart, he died 36 hours later. Unexpectedly

But that memory and those pics are forever

I hope you do Fred. It’s a memory that you will have and that he will hold onto forever

Sorry to hear that Chris. I try to spend quality time with my kids and grandkids.

Definitely! As did mine. We were as close as close could be. Miss him and my grandmother every day. I still struggle at times with his passing cause I failed him. Of the few times he called for help, this one he was begging and I didn’t get there fast enough. Was in the hospital after just delivering my third child when i got his call, by the time EMs got there, he was gone

Sounds like my relationship with my grandfather and father. When you can do everything perfect let me know how you can walk on water.

Oh, here's my little choke adjustment fix. A couple gaskets made from header gasket material. Before and after.

All i did was pull master/ booster out, install modified pedal assy. Interesting fact, brake pedal switch is almost identical to the lincoln.

Oh, and buddy gave me a little gas powered scooter. Didn’t run. We got it running, and modified the electric start. It now accepts a 20v dewalt battery. Chopped up an old drill and zip tied it to fender. Teenie wheels make it deadly in the snow, worse in slush.

Sound to me like you're going to fix whatever you get no matter what.

My cousins work on those for 9 of there children to use, its like a Hell's Angels of the little area, I think they are cool

Always thinking, keeping that mind sharp  having a crown over ice, relaxing as I contemplate the next move on the 360, degree cam in, and get it right, checking tree time for tomorrow, preparing cam shaft, wash, then paint down with assembly lube, its in, oil pan, prepared and ready this morning..

Painted those last few lobs and race last :thankyou:
