I think the biggest reason is 2 words..."Opposed to?"...lol
edelbrock is almost always the popular, well known go-to. Weiand is shrinking, offy is all but gone, INDY=$...and the mopar offerings are Edelbrock clones that cost more $. I'm all for a Victor Vs an Air gap...but totally depends on the rest of the combo.

We take all kinds of pills, that give us all kinds of thrills...But the thrill you'll never know...
Is the thrill that'l git ya when ya get your picture, on the Cover of the Rollin Stones..
---- ROLLIN STONES...... gona get my picture on the cover.......ROLLIN STONS... Gonna buy 5 copies for my motha..... ROLLIN STONES ......Gona see my smiling face On the cover of the rollin stones !!

compared to it's own Torker II, and the holley street dominator

sounds good. I have always ran their intakes too. I have tried the others and came back to my victors and such. Never messed much with the carbs as my "E.T. chasing" started at a young age, so i learned my holley based versions early.
edelbrock (street) intakes really only have one competitor, and it's the ebay/china copys that are 40% cheaper. sometimes the cheaper version gets it done for people, sometimes it doesn't. I've never had my hands on one of the latters, so i can't say much about them.

do you guys do much with the fuel injection kits out there now?

question though. When you pulled the rear window, you pulled it leaving the gasket, or took it gasket and all?
had to go back and refresh my memory -starts at post 166 in my build... I was mainly focused on not damaging the glass, since I already had a replacement for the gasket. I think the top was all loose and the bottom was still stuck to the glass as it came out. I don't recall if I did it on that one, but with the zip strip type you can pull that out and cut the flap off so the glass is just sitting on the remaining part. At that point you can see where it is sticking and 'ease' it off vs. push like hell and launch/break it.

sorry for the delay, doing ten things at once.

yes these can easily work on a 440. i also cut a 5% discount and ship free to members.
you'll probably want to go with the mean street, and a ready to run pro-billet. we also have matching coils, etc. MSD if you'd rather have that over TSP. or if you already have the msd stuff, and want the timing control, we stock the phasable rotors.

Good morning Mopar friends, thanks Mike S. for that happy tune to start the day. It sure feels good to be a Plymouth owner again, can't wait to pick up the '71 Fury once Mr. Davis gets it running good and get started cleaning it up and getting to know it.

I've had a '64 sedan, a '66 Sport Fury, and a '67 sedan, all 318's. So it makes sense to trade up to a '71 360.

They were all great cars that I owned for a long time. But the '64 was really a pleasure, because of it's size. I wonder if Rani ever drove one...I think if she did, she would get the appeal.

Also the a/c in the '64 would make your teeth chatter because the metal vents and metal dash would radiate the coldness...

it was like driving a luxury sedan - I bet that Fury is too!

Man at the resort we are at the end of the summer when we get some crazy, picky people. Last night was like one of my bad dreams. This family literally needed their own server. The mom had a "gluten sensitivity" and the boy was highly allergic to nuts and seeds. The kid asked to substitute a baked potato for the carrots. OK. Well he ordered a soup that is made with finely chopped carrots; I didn't give it a second thought. Turns out he's allegric to carrots too. WHY not say he's allergic to nuts, seeds AND carrots? We have to fill out paperwork while we are trying to take care of all our other guests. When it came to dessert, I told them EVERYTHING is prepared in the vicinity of nuts, yet they still asked me all sorts of questions.

While this was going on, one of my other tables, the couple said when they made the reservation, it was their last night and they wanted special attention. They were bickering and the lady sent her Tito's, lemonade, and club soda back twice because it was too lemon-y and complained everywhere else on the resort they made her drink perfect.

This is why I needed to get another Fury!

Yes Mike!! Wow that is beautiful. I really like the color combo. About the luxury ride, I learned that '71 was the introduction of "torsion-quiet ride" on b- and c-bodies; the rear spring mounts and the front end have rubber isolation donuts!!

That would make me Fury-ous too!

Hey folks!

Today I "finished" installing the passenger side front end! Torsion bar and all! Now that I've done it, the other side should be a breeze. The correct order for doing things isn't entirely intuitive. The front end of the strut rod first, then the LCA.

And if you insert the torsion bar first, you don't have to remove the rubber grommet...
