From the path models I just seen more likely to hit Fla. but who knows what mother natures has in mind eh :p:p Best Canadian voice I could come up with ..
 
yes, its actually worse than Katrina down there, got a buddy whos in the Guard down there, he was there with us during Katrina, says the exact same areas have flooded, and deeper, only thing saving New Orleans is the taller and stronger levvies built by the Army Corp of Engineeers post Katrina.... and those were close to being topped during the rain last week. The difference is no tidal surge to hit them.....yet, if the hurricane hits a near peak levy.... say bye bye

yes.... its a double edge sword. only way water can drain is into the sewer system(1800s) and then into the Mississippi River then to the gulf. However, the sewers are at capacity and the Mississippi is flooded....water cant go anywhere too quick.
 
Pulled the master yesterday to bench bleed it. I was fine with the melted reservoir and I changed the reservoir out then no pedal at all. Tried to bench bleed it and cannot even get the plunger to move. Wonder what is in side it to hold it up. Sucks it is a dr diff one with a ss lined bore. Gust got fed up yesterday and walked away.

Possible that there's debris in there from the melted one?
 
That's what I am hoping. Cannot push it in by hand at all. Need to get some brake clean and fluid and will take it apart today.

I got a new reservoir for it since it still worked. Basically the same master on a 88 w150.

The warming climate is creating more extreme weather so in terms of weather related natural disasters, they ARE more frequent as well as worse.

When it comes to earthquakes, the frequency hasn't really gone up as far as I know and neither has the severity.

Terrorism has as Ray noted not really gone up all that much. When the Catholics were doing the bombing in London and Belfast it didn't get the same effect on world wide opinion as when the Islamists are doing it. I bet you don't hear much about the Hinduist terror in India?

India is a hotbed for sure and the Kurds have been bombed to hell for years. You never hear about the mid east since they keep it tight and the same with the areas of the old USSR

Pretty much what I was thinking. Nice to have a 'none USA' view on it. I think its always been and probably will always be. Just, we were more or less oblivious to it pre 9/11. Now our media brings it to us more often. It's just one big f'd up blue marble, whether we are aware or not is the thing that changes...:BangHead:
 
Sri Lanka is another country that gets hit by the Tamil Tigers a lot. Just about everywhere but here and Canada has monthly things happen. We are spoiled about it. Hang on it will get very bad here in a few years.
 
I had the same conversation with Marilyn a while back she was freaking out about going to a public place and My response was basically you letting them win by making you scared. We live in a bubble looking out and do not see what else is going on unless it directly affects us. Just My Opinion
