Wow... 3 confirmed, one being an f3 with winds up to 165 mph. Looking at 2 more possibly yet to be confirm.

Ya, that's why I was wondering about a possible clog. But as Rani said, the rubber hose was so badly aged and soft that it was collapsing under normal pump suction.
 
Ok Ok I'm here! Sorry, I had a cruise to go to tonight. Good news is that the wife is gone till Friday and I am planning on Mopars on the Mississippi on Sunday. I hope it doesn't rain.
