Stop in for a cup of coffee

Good morning all,
Her Dad continues to improve. Much more responsive. Still all tubed up, but opening eyes now.
Just about to head into work. Starting a little late today. Did a half day yesterday.
Keith

Good news. He's putting up a good fight and making progress...

I,m here to tell....I have been dealing with Bronchitis since January. I am on my second round of meds because nothing has been helping, including my moms mustard plaster! This crap is unbelievable and I am told it can turn to pneumonia. So I understand to a point because it is bad stuff. I hope they get it straightened out

Have you tried eating fresh garlic, tumeric, and ginger?

Garlic really helps boost your immune system. I like to get fresh cloves and chop it up real fine and put it in my recipies that can blend with it. Like chicken noodle soup. I put garlic, tumeric and pepper in my chicken noodle soup. The black pepper increases the consumption of the immune boosting ingredient of tumeric to boost its effectiveness.

then try making tea with honey, lemon, and a few slices of ginger.

I prefer to try natural immune boosting foods over taking meds as they have less side effects and I don't have to go to the doctor to get them...

Also load up on vitamin C...

The drug companies don't want you to know that the food helps and is very effective because it will cut into their profits and that's all that they care about.... Many times the side effects are worse than the sickness that you are trying to treat. They know it, but don't care because all they want is our money... :finga:

Since I've been trying the natural foods, I've had less colds this season than I usually do... It's working very well for me...

Late here today. Having issues with my laptop/tablet this morning. Might take it for a tune up today. Bout the only thing I can't tune. LOL

Make sure that you get your timing set before adjusting your carb on your laptop.... :D

Have you tried to delete your cookies, browsing history?

Also if you can clear your temp folder, that can make a big difference...

Look in the help on your computer under slow internet for instructions to try before taking it in...

Gooooooood morning. Its foggy out this morning which is unusual. .... but we have been getting rain all last week and this week which is also unusual.

I didn't realize how dry rotted my Windshield wipers were till all this rain came

When I asked the wiper guy why I go through wipers so often, he told me that people change them when they don't need to. He said to clean the rubber part of the blade with a clean rag soaked in rubbing alcohol. Most people don't realize that the blades are just dirty and throw them away... #-o

dang hail last week busted the tail light lenses on my 70 swinger and I didn't even notice till my cousin pointed it out. :protest:

70 swinger tail lights look awesome but they are a poor design and break so easy. I think people used to put a knee to them trying to get stuff out of the trunk or something because I have rarely seen originals that are not broken on the bottom.

Many of us can unload the trunk with both of our feet on the ground.... We don't have to climb in and out of the trunk.... :poke:

May I offer to give you a boost??? :D

I see that I missed everyone and am now in the "who farted" moment.... :cussing:

Wow, he's had a great run and hopefully can get to 100. You don't see that much..

Good for him for making it this far.

I doubt I will make it as far as he's done if I take after my dad's side, but maybe if I take after mom's side... One of grandma's relatives made it to 103...

No male on my dad's side has made it to 70 so far. Even dad who swam 2 miles per day every day until he was taken down by lymphoma... Dad swam more miles than the best runner at his health club. I had some of his old t-shirts from when he meet each milestone, he went past 65,000 miles swimming... He reached each milestone swimming before the best runner did running... :prayer:

Changing subjects... Back to the dog...

I was talking with the college kids who help out my older neighbor across the street with his yard and other house chores, they were telling me that my dog had chased 5 coyotes into Bob's yard the day before...

The day before that, I was out at dinner time with the dog, and he saw 3 coyotes running down the edge of our property line and chased them across the street into Bob's yard. I saw Bob was out and hollered at him so he could see them also...

They think it's cool that my 65 lb Dalmatian isn't afraid to stand up to many Coyotes at one time. I just don't want them to lure him into a pack situation where he may get too outnumbered, so I only allow him to chase them to the property line. But he will still bark at them until they go away. I think that he considers the coyotes like "street bums" and they may try to take his position, so he chases away the "competition" as he likes it here....

He has a cushy life... (I think he realizes it, he won't run away if I leave him out, he stays in our yard).

Pretty cool when our critters realize they have it good. Must mean we're doing a pretty good as parents.

At least the internet is back here it dropped off yesterday morning and came back sometime last night.

All the cars at the junkyard were on the ground with no tires and could not get to any of the bolts or clips. They have a lot of stuff, but the pics looked way better than they were in
