I am waiting till 7 to hit the feed store to get some more straw for weed block in the hop field, yesterday got sidetracked by Marilyn and the boy.
 
I think I might pull the six next week to start getting the car ready for the 440 install since all the bugs are worked out. Just ordered a firewall gasket set so I can paint the eng comp.
 
My son is graduating on Mon (weather permitting). His mom and her new squeeze and her parents are coming in for it.

We went cruising last night, it was ok, a few cars, but we were out late..

We went to Dukes drive in just before 10 PM, there were 10 - 20 cars there.

We also heard that Blue Top is supposed to be another spot, so we looked it up on the net, they are open till midnight on Fri & Sat, so we took the younger brother with after he got off work at 10, and got there at 11:15, there were about 5 ricers in the parking lot, one new mustang, and they were not serving food anymore???

WTF? We take the time to drive from Chicago to Indiana, and the f*ckers close early on a nice warm cruising night when they advertise that they are open late and under new management and want the cruisers back like the old days.... When we first moved back here, we tried to go there on a weekend, and they were closed before 8 PM then... Very disappointing. I will give them one more try and then I won't go there again...


and then yesterday I sent a letter to the village manager concerning the a--hole next door having too many real estate signs up for his house for sale. Only one sign allowed per property, this a--wipe put up two more signs in front of his house making four now, in addition to the one at the end of the street, which is only allowed by special permission from the city, which he probably does not have.

It steams my ***, that those signs were up last year when the village was crawling up my ***, and they didn't enforce the ordinances. They followed through with all of HIS complaints against ME, but let him get away with this crap, even after I have previously complained about this. So I told him that I'm putting my complaints in writing so I can have proof if I need to keep escalating this until they take action.

It took me to go to the mayor to get them to address that his greenhouse was so flimsy that pieces of it would end up in my yard after a wind storm (we are in the "windy city").

So since they addressed all of his concerns, I'm not going to let him get away with violating any ordinances himself. He better not cross the line, or I will report him. Normally I wouldn't give a crap, but he started with me, now he has to suffer the consequences. If he makes a violation, I'm going to be all over it and going to the village for action.... He should have let this sleeping lion lie....

Cool. I hope you have small hands and fingers to work on a 440 in an a-body.... :banghead:

I had one of those next door in Patchouge, she was a trip. If a radio was on louder that you could hear, called the cops, a branch from my tree over the line called the village. I used to put xmass lights that flashed really fast on the side of my house facing hers just to get her going. The driveway was about a foot away from her house and she used to ***** about it. I finally had enough and put up a fence that was 100% on my property but she could not get to the side of her house without going onto my property. I used to make here give me a written request one month in advance. All the neighbors had problems with her.

Straw once you get a mat of about 6" deep works for a season. You cannot use any type of weed killer at all. I tried the cloth but it did not work so well!
 
Wow PA finally has a bill going through to stop welfare for life for drug dealers that are caught, now if they can tack on the users.......

He tried to call the village to get me to fix the fence between our back yards. they were giving ma a hard time. So I wired it back up, like he's been doing, and he took it down three days later. He then took out a post that he replaced and then wanted me to dig a new hole to fix the fence as the "post was on his property"...

I asked the villiage, "If the post is on HIS PROPERTY then the fence is his and why should I FIX it. Especially if he's going to take it back apart. He doesn't want the fence fixed, he wants me to get fined.

I then took the village guy and showed him that there used to be two fences along that property line, one was a chain link on my side that has since been removed. The picket fence should be on his property. He then wants me to pay for a survey for this information which costs about $600. I asked, "why should I pay for a $600 survey for you to give me a ticket?" :finga:

I told them that the proof is on the accuser and to prove that the fence is on MY property. Then I brought it up with the village Manager and my smoke and mirrors has gotten them to back off on that issue. But I'm pretty sure that the fence is on his property, and he should be fined for trying to get them to make me responsible for it.


I don't fix the fence now. If he's going to take it apart, then he can take care of it. He has this style fence all the way around his lot, but refuses to fix it. He just props it up with old tree branches and wire, but wants me to put up a new one so he can ask a even higher price for his house. He is trying to sell it and is waaayyy overpriced... He's dropped the price $210,000 off of what he started asking for it over 2 years ago and can't sell it...

He convinced the guy behind me that the 4-5 sections that go behind my chain link in the back was his, and he fixed it. When I saw that guy putting up the new fence, I asked him why he was putting up a fence on my property. Joe convinced him that it was his property and he fixed it. He's wrong, I own almost to his drive way behind my fence...

Joe tries to manipulate people to get his way. He's a cheap ***. I can't wait until he's gone, but he's probably going to move into the woman behind the guy across the street from me, he's banging her now...

He's going to sell his house and shack up with her and sit on the interest if he can ever sell his house...

He started with me, I am going to keep on him until he's gone. (Let sleeping lions lie...) Then when he leaves we're going to put up a sign in front and throw a "Joe's not here" party!!! :blob:
 
Nice, one of the reasons I moved here. I did not want to go back to the drama of Long Island again!
