Stop in for a cup of coffee

Cobalt is going again, really impressed with the nylon fuel lines. Fast and easy to do.
Speaking of wet spots... think I found my leak on Magnum. The plastic 'belly shields' were wet with oil. Pulled them last week and washed it out. Narrowed it down to right side of radiator area. Looks like its in the fins of the trans cooler... which is the top few coils of the AC condenser. Gonna try to confirm it 100% before I order one. Looks like fun. Not terribly difficult from what I can see, but Gotta pull the whole front bumper/grill panel.

Ever see those bags you get as packing that are filled with spray foam you activate that work?

so what, spray foam the original piece and use that as the form.. huh... not sure that stuff would be strong enough for a large piece - but for something smaller - interesting idea

Spray it with silicone as a releasing agent in some sort of form like a cardboard box around it? As long as the foam wont get hung up why not?

Dave has a friend that uses simalr way doing the full scale Thomas the tank engine faces.

What I remember he uses the bags, then takes the plastic off with gas then hits it with fiberglass resin lightly then has a rough mold.

I don't know what you are building there Chris. I went back a few pages and couldn't find it. But there should be some youtube videos about mold building.
