Stop in for a cup of coffee

Morning Rani!

Did you swing by to check out your most Scandinavian car so far yet?

no, I have been neglecting it :realcrazy:

main reason is because I am putting all my effort and car time to my dad's car because if I finish it by a deadline ...he is going to buy the paint for one of my cars and plus I get to drive his car anytime that I am finishing now.

Its actually kinda nice to finish a car that someone else is funding because there are no dead ends, he keeps putting parts and materials in my hands and I just do a lot of sanding, welding and painting. (plus I don't over think options or colors ...everything is already pre-determined as far as color and options)

So far the tail panel was crunched in so I have the old one cut out and the new AMD re-pop unit ready to go in. ( I need to prep the flanges and start plug welding)

It is also going to need an inner fender replaced and a part of the firewall patched because it was a race car and they cut the firewall up for some odd reason that is still unknown to me.

oh what the hay ...they are in black and white for some reason ....weird

I forgot the before pic but there it is with the old panel cut out and the new one test fitted but not welded on yet

Very nice indeed... For some reason I thought dad's ride was a Barracuda...

he does have a 69 cuda but that is a rainy day project ...LOL

this is a 71 demon he picked up a couple years ago. Very rust free car but almost every panel has a big dent or two ....or three or four.

It also has like 5 or 6 paint jobs on it which took me awhile to get a lot of the stripping done

I hate to say this, but you dad's rear end looks great. You're doing good work on Dad's rear end.

I think our 1st unofficial instigator might have gotten you..
Oh don't tell me, Hoppy has been using a link to the original posting of the furry Ben photo instead of his own copy of the image? :BangHead:

I just knew that bookmark feature was gonna bite me somehow...

I get an odd sense of satisfaction out of this...

I don't know - but bookmarking then trying to repost a deleted post nets you an error page - I think he probably saved a copy for himself
