Is it possible for a two stroke weedeater to run backwards? I swear I restarted mine doing yard work last weekend and the head was spinning the 'wrong' direction (throwing stuff at me vs away from me). Shut it down and restarted, back to normal. I know for a fact I was well on my way to hammered... but I really don't think that was it..

probably good idea to lose that drink recipe.. Drinking and powertools not so much of a great idea either.:steering:

it would require a preemptive strike though - just give up all my stuff here and sign the divorce papers... in my mind, there is really only one reason to go there and it doesn't go well with being married...
print off an extra copy for me, im gonna need it when my wife learns about the polara

LOL - mine keeps seeing me looking at cars online... ebay etc... "what the F are you looking at that for!?" is the usual comment... "oh, no reason, just like to see what's out there.." - but you can be sure if I find the right car...

Good morning. Getting the Fury ready for a road trip to Atlanta on Sunday. Mechanically it's fine and I have all the emergency stuff in the trunk. I want to put the kick panels back. My question, should I put some kind of insulation material in there? If so, any ideas on what's good and cheap?

there probably was some in there originally but you don't need it - where the screws go through there is a "tower/spacer" on the upper ones - yes? 3 screw points? upper, lower and foot sill right?

Yep, it's absolutely possible. If you get a little pre-ignition bump, they will run backwards. There are all kinds of reports on the internet about it happening (the 2-cycle can run backwards by design) and I even had it happen to me with my old Ryobi weed wacker.

Here's a link to a discussion about it...

Sorry Mike I was outside messing with it. Yes, I have the screws but the way it wedges in there and the kick plate holds it down, don't really need them. I just kinda thought I could make the car a little quieter with some insulation.
