53 friggen degrees here this morning ! 78 degree's for the high Thursday ! sunny all week, small chance of rain Friday... I stored my lawn mower and it looks like it is coming out today.. Weird chit going on this year folks
Also still need to pull the dash on the POP and do the wiper bushing and pivot seals, see how my back feels.
I will take it, just need rain really bad this year I have been here 10 years and this is the first time the 1/4 acre pond went dry!

40 here - looks like a lot of rain headed our way..
... Very dry year here also, We have been in a burn ban for the last week and the leaves started falling about a week ago, everything is dry here..................... I will be hunting near a pond this week if my trail cam has day light movement.. if no movement in day light I will be fishing !! got to get more fresh meat in the freezer

Yup... Shop Protege just came yesterday and gave me a Leaf *******...
... So today I'm gonna cut the grass one more time and seed and fertilize tomorrow..and aerate...and be done for the year...
The worst part of that job for me is getting the spedo cable on.
I live on a hill and I leave the leaves (I do blow the leaves away from the house) it helps the drive and the yard from erosion

so I'm thinking - - while I have the 360 out, why not pop the old 318 in there and let it run... the car has a 727 and the 318 is currently hooked up to a 727 - - I should be able to take the 318 off the 727, grab the TC and jam it all together in the Scamp... yaa?
Why not easy swap.

Anybody notice gas prices? Dropped about 10cent here since the election. Of course it went up 20 or so over several weeks before it... I don't think it even mattered who won. just an excuse to gouge us for $.

Not saying it's easy, but you can just pull the cluster and the glove box... still gotta deal with the cable though.

I do the pivot seals with the dash in place - UNLESS it is an AC car, I have not tried that.

Mine is AC. I originally did mine with dash out. But, decided to add grease zerks and had to pull all apart to do that. Did not pull dash. Now my wiper motor not working, so looks like something will be coming apart again. Probably just pop the bushing at the motor, but never know... if something binding.
Just the drivers side needed did the pass a while ago. No room to do it from the bottom.

Good morning...another sign of getting older, I took a swig of coffee, it dripped on my jeans, figured I just missed my mouth...another sip, same thing happened...oh wait, the lid to the mug wasn't screwed on right.
Off today...yesterday had one of those medical tests we avoid, everything good but that's why I wasn't around.
Gonna take the Fury and meet my young lady friend for lunch. She and her fiancé are going to Costa Rica, I have some general tips to share, I do not want to tell her so much that it takes away from them discovering things on their own. You can't help wanting to stay connected with the young folks when they have values of working hard and living a respectable life. They also like to travel and go camping and that's fun to hear about.
