what you mean you can't coast start a Harley??
The compression on mine will not allow it to turn over even with my fat butt. Unless you get it in 3rd gear and then you have to be doing 20 miles an hour. Believe me I have tried numerous times.

yeeesh.. another good reason to hang onto my older scoot.. they stopped putting kickers on them too right?

They did...And I have a kill switch and the ignition switch. I cannot tell you how many times I have pulled in shut it off with the kill switch got off put stuff in my pack and walked away with the switch on. Stupid I know but if you park it in gear and the switch is down under the seat I always use the kill switch.

I've been lucky, never had to kick start mine - did have to roll start it once...
 
If you can keep from moving up I would. I have considered going back to just what you have. I love the fuel injection but the fuel sensor went out leaving me sit. No kicker. Mine is a 2004 low rider and I love it. Very few issues other than stated.
