Stop in for a cup of coffee

I.E. Portland
Oh...that noise. *sigh*

The domestic terrorist wannabes and vigilantes will all calm down once the cold weather gets here and Trump is sworn in and we get to see what he does.

Until then, water cannons in Winter makes for a miserable day for the idiots.

If they want to try to go further, it's their funeral.

People tend to forget that the President must take the Oath of Office...

"I (enter name) do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States."

They also forget that the President does not make the laws and cannot change the Constitution. Those things can only be done by Congress and interpreted for legitimacy by the Supreme Court. The President can only sign things into Law and can still be over ridden if he doesn't agree. He cannot enact legislation on his own.

They also forget that the United States Military takes a similar oath...

"I (enter name) do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God."

Just like the President, the Military does not make the laws and cannot change the Constitution. Their job is only to protect and defend it.

This is America and the rules haven't changed just because the date has...despite what protesters and vigilantes may think.

Threaten the Constitution by your actions and all hell will rain down on your sorry azz...without exception.

Been nice and quiet today. Just goofing off.

I was looking on YouTube, how to fix your washer reservoir, just sandpaper, clean with acetone, spread some clear epoxy on it, cut a single layer of bandage gauze to fit, repeat one more time...that's it. Very cheap I think I may try it tomorrow.

What's wrong, cracked?

That's a great thread, I had no idea it would be so funny.

Well it's leaking, previous owner just wrapped it all up in clear tape, that needs to go. I'll see when I take the tape off...
I had a crack on my coolant overflow bottle on Duster.
I melted shut by heating a putty knife with a torch. Then just smoothed over it till it sealed. It's on bottom, so cant see repair. I have seen some of these get brittle and they will pretty much crumble.

Does your Washer bottle look like this?

If it does, they are around $65 new from Year One.

Oh thanks Keith, so I don't mess with it unknowingly and destroy it. I'd like to get that ugly tape off if I can.

It's different, Dave. Year One is limited on C-body stuff...I bet someone sells it if they don't but I'm really trying to do things as inexpensively as possible, if I can.
I completely get that. Just trying to help find an alternative in case the fix isn't possible. :)

OK, is it this one for your Fury David?

I found one for $20 but it was sold already. Let me know if it's right and I will keep an eye out for one.

Monday again.
FIL's funeral is tomorrow. Short work day today. Then I drive to Jersey and pick up my daughter. My son is supposed to show up later tonight. His first time home in over a year. Probably work at least part of Wed. We get off Thurs and Fri for Turkey.
Gonna be a different than normal week for sure...

Don't forget next Monday is a National Holiday and I am taking 3 days to celebrate
