Stop in for a cup of coffee

Back from playing hooky...Fish n Chips place was cool. Funny how it's a "new" concept, they fry fish as fast as they can, customers are lined up down the sidewalk, you pay, when your order is ready they yell your name, you eat and go. You're allowed to bring your own beer. Then we went to an equally basic brew pub, about 8 different beers on draft, 10 oz., a pint, or a Growler (so that's what a "growler" is.) Nice weather so my young lady friend and I drank our beer outside under a tree and talked about life. She knows all the really good, cheep places!

So this is the first day I have had to "tinker' with my new Dart, Got the carb dialed in at the new altitude, good God, what a difference! I AM going to keep it as it for sure! Wow.

Thought of you @Ben Drinkin

Maybe I just don't like being told "no" but sometimes I would have one beer here and there when I was on antibiotics...what says you @Ddaddy? Does it really make that much difference? Inquiring minds want to know!
Yeah inquiring minds wanna know, I'm on three medicines containing Codiene

Most commonly prescribed antibiotics these days don't interact with alcohol much (if at all). Having one or two beers even with the ones that do generally will only decrease their effectiveness a little, but there are a few that can become dangerous with alcohol consumption (they are clearly labeled as such).

In general, in cases like Chris is experiencing, the alcohol prohibition is related more to the illness and the meds other than antibiotics. Pneumonia is severely exasperated by the alcohol exhaled into the lungs from the blood stream causing increased irritation and inflammation leading to increased fluid build up in the lungs.

So 5 more days. What a way to end my 20s

Oh yeah, alcohol is completely contraindicated when taking codeine. It's a case where 1+1=5. It can cause severe side effects including severely depressed heart rate and blood pressure, loss of consciousness, severe gastrointestinal effects and more.

How long does codeine take to get out of my system?

That's about a 3.5% change in pressure. Enough to make a difference, but if you are seeing a bigger change than that I suspect the carb may have never been tuned properly to begin with.
Was wondering if it ever was set up right.

Thanks Dave. So to be safe, I can drink again on Tuesday
