Hey guys, I got the weird idle figured out.. It had to do with advance weights in Dist. And a Carb out of adj.

Now I'm wondering how you know what earthworms taste like...

so you've eaten earthworms.. clearerer and clearerer

Now, now...we can't assume he's actually eaten any. He may have only sucked on them...

Sadly, yes I have eaten earth worms. I took a 3 week survival course offered to me back in the summer of 2005, called SERE . Not exactly the funniest course and you'll be surprised on the stuff you'll eat

Yup...If you look up the beach a little...The Gold Star...The Muong Thanh... I'm There...
Got it!

I thought it would be in those 2 things, glad you got it figured out!

the carb was out of adjusment, The engine would rev up to where the advance weights would put in advance, thus speeding up the engine, and getting to a speed it would not come back down from because the carb was adjusted too lean, and had to have the throttle plates opened too far. Screw out the idle screw it would slow down and the weights would reset and start over again. It idles best at 1500 in neutral and about 1200 in gear.

Always fun figuring that stuff out...at least now after turning some tools and dialing stuff in, it's really becoming yours!
