The money comes from the NGB, they are diverting it then somewhere. This can be a real hornets nest you know. Do the inquires kind of quiet to your first sargent.

Minimum they should put you up in a barracks or tent. Also a meal ticket for dinner.

Bullcrap it is the same I have been in both.

well, last month they did offer to let us stay the saturday night of drill at the armory with cots. But no meal ticket.

It is a start at least, wish I was your Master Sargent or I guess first Sargent in the army?

Does your unit have a top three E-7, 8 and 9, be a good place for them to bring it up.

what a commute!! some moron in a Subaru that didn't clear the snow and ice of their car damn near collected me... if I had time, I would have chased that idiot down and read them the riot act...
I doubt just reading it would help. People like that learn more from hands on demonstrations. :D

what's up gentlemen ......just dropping in to see if the coffee crew has been holding the fort down

so hoppy, i just added up all the expenses just to get to drill, including the mileage rate at 57.5 percent per mile, 3732 i can deduct on my taxes.

Here is a good army/Air story of lifestyles. Northern Iraq arrive at night and kind of set up shelter for forty of us on three hellos, using nvg's. Get it set up hear voices in the farm field all night, next morning it is still going on find four army parachutist stuck in the mud waist deep this stuff was like glue we pull them out and give them shelter. They are freaking amazed our tent had a floor and light (courtesy of me bringing a few solar panel) Took a few days getting comms up hard, we are having a great time with these privates, they freak out we have water, toilet paper, a BBQ, etc. They get in touch with there command and they are supposed to find there way to there unit. We request them for perimeter security, and it was granted. Man they were happy.
