There's two oils that diesel mechanics and diesel hot rod shops SWEAR by, Rotella 15w40 diesel forumula and Amsoil synthetics. All we run in all of our tractors and trucks is Rotella, not a single issue to date and some of those tractors are 40 years old and 15,000+ hours on them. I've never used rotella for a gasser though

no, used to be. They also reduced the Zinc from rotella back a few years ago, you need to add a supplement called EOS that restores the zinc content for flat tappet cams.
 
I do use 303 hyd fluid in my trans in the mopars, seems to work better than dextron, I still add two dextron so I can see the level on the stick.
 
Still up. They say things happen in threes. First chuck berry, now chuck barris.
 
I have seen just use dex III in a few places, The racers some use the 303, I personally had no issues with it and it is inexpensive also.
 
Yeah... I did a double take when I first heard about Barris this morning.. I thought,, hell you guys are late on that one ....LOL
