Stop in for a cup of coffee

Thank you guys. What I've read about that type of cancer is not encouraging. You hate to see the older folks get a blow like this. Spooky thing, just last October I caught him when we were alone and said long-overdue thanks to him and he gave me a hug which hever happened before.
Just so you can be prepared, spinal cancer in an older male (especially in the T-8 region) usually means it has originated from lung cancer that has spread into the spine. This means the cancer is at an advanced stage and the prognosis is usually not very good with little time left and few options for treatment other than trying to extend the little time left.

Sorry. :(

Sad to say but he's right. My grandfather died in 2013 of this same thing. Diagnosed in late 2011. They gave him 6 months, he made it 17. I wish I could tell you different but hug and hold him often as possible. I screwed up and didnt do this, something I'll regret for the rest of my life and I can't ever make up for it.

I appreciate it, Dave. He had prostate cancer so maybe it spread. But however it got there, I know it's not good at all. He and my Mom have been married 44 years. She is a very strong resolute woman, having lost her Dad to cancer when she was 9 and her Mom when she was 15, I hate for that disease to take her husband away from her.

I hate cancer. It such a terrible thing. I've told my family numerous times, if it ever happens to me, a 45 caliber slug will solve it. I will not go thru it not will I force my fam thru it.

Tough women but still gonna be hard on all. Prayers.

I'm out, take care everyone and God Bless

Don't do that. If you die of cancer, your life insurance will pay your survivors. Id you use a 45 they don't.

I'll wait for the morphine drip.

In my thirties, my good friend had bad pain from neuropathy, one night around a campfire I took one of his methadone tablets, all I can say is I will never forget how it felt like I went to sleep on a cloud that night.

So yea, this Friday i am going to burst into harbor freigt and get an engine stand and hope my slant bolts to it.

I have the slant in the shop for the valiant. It was originally built by me for a 72 dart that i don't have anymore.

Because it was intended for a 72, it is blue. Which is the wrong color for 63

So i plan to re paint it to that familiar early 60s red or orange....not sure exactly what it is.

Now is the time to commit and get over the idea of going V8......or just go ahead and go V8. LoL

Get the one with the v base the slant is front heavy, mine almost fell over a few times with the belve slant on it.
