go to your user name in the upper right corner - when the menu opens up click on Preferences -
"Browsing Preferences" window will open - in there find "Use the rich text editor to create and edit messages" - make sure it is checked - then save changes

don't even need to go there...
Below the reply box, left side in small print - click use rich text editor. He probably hit the top right corner by mistake. That knocks it off.

Throw in a set of rhoades lifters with it, it will be fine with a stock converter...
