Stop in for a cup of coffee

Not so much 'stress', but anxiety. Regardless how screwed up the old place was, you knew what it was and you were established in it. Changing to a new job with lots of unknowns can be a shock to the system. Even if it's likely to be very positive, it's the anticipation. Believe me, I have been in very stressful situations and been fine cause I had a pretty good idea of all the variables. And in most cases it's short term. Anxiety is different. Not always negative either. Just 'different'. This is going to change what you do and where you go every day. I had a really good phone interview yesterday, that will likely lead to another interview next week. The anxiety level is climbing. But I am not stressed.
Maybe but I've been in worse spots. There's more to this than I'm saying publicly. I won't go super into details but I'm hoping a cause is found on one hand and not on the other, like last time

.............going to change what you do and where you go every day..... that alone would be stressful!!
Not to me if I think it will be better than before. But I would/will be anxious till it happens. Once he walked out of the last job, reality shifted from known to unknown.

Hey, sorry to grab coffee and run, back later...employees get 90% off merchandise from one of the golf courses, sale starts at 8........

Well that was ok, place was swarming, "saved" $481, scored a few brother-in-law-type gifts with Kiawah logo...nobody I know including myself would ever wear those hot synthetic knit golf shirts and that's what most of the stuff was...
washed the Fury, it felt odd not having my MN friends riding along, got a haircut (no extras) and errands, I feel a nap coming on...
