So anyway, I'm thinking of painting the polara either a cream or a white, then where the scallop trim is, under that painting it a deep metallic red and then reinstalling the stainless trim on top of the red
- it struck me, what can I say!!?Oh, just stop...LOL!
But there it's a little rust on mostly good metal. Here we sift through the rust for anything useable.Just got them today. Dropped them off to the body shop this afternoon. Hard to believe but even Arizona parts have rust. LOL

The trunk floor extensions is what I wanted the most. They look good. The price between them and the whole lower 1/4 wasn' that much difference. I hope I have some pieces left over that someone else can use.But there it's a little rust on mostly good metal. Here we sift through the rust for anything useable.
so what's the plan with that car? resto? hot rod? other? The trunk floor extensions is what I wanted the most. They look good. The price between them and the whole lower 1/4 wasn' that much difference. I hope I have some pieces left over that someone else can use.
Everything I have done to it so far has been close to stock (resto) It's one of 1237 (as if that means a lot) but it is a 66 Dart GT with a HP273, 4 speed, and a 8 3/4 Sure grip. It is what it is and I would like to keep it close to what it was if you know what I mean.so what's the plan with that car? resto? hot rod? other?
amazing condition

Not on the car but just the engine. I have owned it for 10+ years and have had fun fixing, rebuilding and restoring it. Oh ya. Driving it too. I tend to abuse the little 273 from time to time. I need to have someone ride along to be the camera man.Sounds fun. Forgive me but do you have a build thread going for it?
That is Convertibles and hardtops. There's no further breakdown for those cars. The records were apparently lost in a fire.hey, my Harley is one of about 2500 in 83 - one in 1237 is something.. I would go resto on it too

Been there done that. Put my door inners back together today. The top of this one was cracked in two places. fixed with JB Plastic and backed it up with pieces of sanding cloth. Painted that, the armrest and the inset for the handle with SEM Light Parchment. You guys should go out to the shop and fix something....lol Cheers !!!
