Possibly or a connection/ground issue

ok thanks, one of the many things to do! by the way build sheet location?
PO said never looked for i,t usual spots? under seats .carpet?
But they can be pretty much anywhere. I've even seen them taped behind door panels

Build sheet are many places. Under the rear seat bottom is a common place. Behind the bucket seat backs, under the carpet, and even taped to the back or the top of the glove box liner. If it's a California built car it may not have one. Most built there didn't. VIN? (minus the last group of numbers)

Cool. And I see you picked up the dizzy machine.
Yep and it's in great shape. I'm not sure I'm gonna let hoppy have it

The engine tester is in great shape too and fully works. Guy is a huge Mopar but with tons of stuff for sale cheap.

I'm tempted to go back and get the 383s he had too for 40 bucks each.

You've been drinking?
Not bad if I can get it to shift.
it be even better,
very hard to shift I got to try and adjust the linkage or put the Hurst shifter in!!!
of course I've been drinking! lube and adjust the shifter. hopefully all it needs. then just decide which shifter you like best. I'd be happy to cruise to Tucson and take the other one off your hands..
