Got that weird feeling in my hand... Usually when I feel this it's healing and I can see some improvement in the next few days...

Hi folks.

Just thought I'd drive by to show I'm still alive. We're out in the summer house doing a little renovation of the guest house. It's a brick walled old house that has had an addition made to it a long time ago.

As always with renovations, surprises pop up. In this case, an old ants nest revealed serious damage to part of the ceiling, wall and floor in one corner. The wall itself is brick and mortar so that's ok, but the drywall (old style, rather soft fiber sheets and wooden ribs to support them) was all eaten up in parts.

In the other room, old water damage appeared in one corner.

We thought we were almost ready to prime the walls and now we're fixing floorboards ...
 
Yay..... I get to deal with the sheriff department today
 
Monday shows its ugly head
i drag my carcass out of bed
i brew myself a special cup
and head out back to pet the pup.

i go online to see what's new
with the early morning coffee crew.
make some jokes and be a jerk
then get dressed up and go to work.

That's all..

No but there's some old red head dude cussing and screaming at me. Jackwagon crossed the center line and his towing mirror hit my truck and destroys his. My track has a small scratch. :lol: But I'm now waiting for the sheriff to arrive to take a report. Figures let them figure it out
 
Morning guys. Just poured my first cup. The start of another week. Sounds like it's going to be a sticky one here this week. Summer in Iowa!
 
Man I got some requests for distributors over the weekend, some seriously hard to find cores. Need to refill the core pile for sure.
