yes I get that. But at the same time, other than the Minnesota shooting of this lady, the stories that have made national news with police involved deaths so far have all been prior convicted felons. Now im not saying that should be an instant death sentence but you know, if you are jailed as many times as some of these people were, really i find it hard to sympathize. That being said, I am concerned about the shoot first ,investigate and cover up later that appears to be the trend in police forces today. That and why do they need MRAPs?

One of the shootings in Chicago, there were three cops caught lying in their reports... this has been going on for years, now they are getting exposed...

Yeah, it's pretty dumb not to follow what they say when they have you at gun point...

but if they are going to throw you down to the ground and stomp your head when you are trying to cooperate makes it difficult to want to obey their orders...

There's that black woman from Chicago that was arrested in TX and ended up dead after being taken into custody... And the security tapes "are not available" to see what happened to her while in custody... WTF???

You have to take it on a case-by-case basis...

yeah but how do we fix it?

get the bad cops in line or fire them....

that's why their cameras "don't work" when incidents happen.... They disable them so they don't get caught covering things up... If their cameras are not working, then they should fill out the paperwork and get it fixed... As long as they aren't the ones breaking them so they have no proof of their unlawful actions...

They only like cameras when it helps support their case, not when it proves them doing something wrong... Double standard...

There needs to be a system of checks and balances to keep things on the up-and-up... Same with the politicians... Everybody needs to be held accountable for their actions... No special exceptions...

nice! hey, just noticed this "It's only money, you can always make more" - that's too funny, when I was hanging out in bars and going to after-hours parties and what-not years ago, one of my favorite little lines was "hey it's only money, I'll make more" -- :D
