Well I got all the stuff to finish the Sun cabinet I got from Hoppy last weekend.

First I added a custom cut piece of 1/4" thick heavy rubber sheet to the top...

Then I installed the reproduction Sun decal on the door...

I have 2 more things to add, we'll see if I can get it done tonight!

Last night's ribs. Did I take a photo of the whole rack? Kind of. These baby back's were really meaty.

I tried cutting them apart and the bones just fell off. They look rare but they were on the smoker for 6 hours. I used the 3-2-1 method. 3 hours on low temp smoke, (less than 200°) wrap them for 2 hours @225°, and uncover and add the BBQ sauce and top with whisky to finish.

Where did you score the rubber sheet? Did it have adhesive on the back?

That pork loin you posted has a really nice smoke ring on it. Looks like it's about 1/2" into the meat. Nice!
 
Damn Karl, My left overs aren't so good any more. Love sweet corn season!

I finally got a chicken recipe that my oldest son will eat...

We'll see how long until he's bored with it...

The farm stand is now open and the corn is great this year...

I baked a PaPa Murphys on the smoker a couple days ago. Damn it was good!

we had a stir-fry shrimp and asparagus with pasta. All frozen together in a bag. 10 min in the frying pan. Can't compete with a good home cooked meal, but actually not bad at all considering....
 
Imagine the feast that we could have if we all got together for a picnic and everybody brought a dish or two.... :p

I'm getting a food coma thinking about it.... :D

We can try to stuff Rani so full she'd break 90 lbs.... :lol:
