Evening boys finally getting to that oil change I bought a little three dollar ranch at Walmart that worked pretty good.
And instead of the large filter they had on there I bought a short one so it's not up against the firewall

Last time I checked AMD doesn't make extensions for 2nd gen Barracudas. So not that bad of price if you need it.

I thought they did...

I bought a new spare tire well that was AMD... I didn't need extensions at the time, so I didn't inquire...

Hand tight only!!!
Yeah I wish the last guy knew that!
Hey do you guys know if the oil plug should have a metal gasket on it like it does
Or should I put a plastic one on there?
I think I'm going to go with the new plastic one that I have

The thin metal one is original...

We used to replace them with 1/2" nylon gaskets at the 10 minute oil change that I worked at... We would also sell them a new GM 1/2" drain plug (that came with the white nylon gasket)..

The stock 7/8" chrysler drain plugs are intentionally softer than the pan so they strip out first... They usually get 5 - 8 changes on them before the threads get buggered up...

The GM plugs were harder and wouldn't strip out as easy... Chase the threads in the oil pan with a 1/2" tap (fine I believe) and put the original in if it's in good shape, otherwise go to a
GM dealer and ask for the old v-8 1/2" drain plug...

Amazin, what did you do take a pic and blow up then color it in ?
It's a fairly extensive process of taking the original scanned image and blowing it up in Photoshop and then rebuilding it. Then I rework all the sections and recolor everything. Then I use that image to construct the final image in multiple layers. This image took 11 layers to complete. Really complicated ones can have 30-50 layers and over 60 hrs of time in them by the time I'm done.
