Stop in for a cup of coffee

Vodka mixed with Pineapple Starfruit juice is rocking! Fabulous combination.
At work we have drinks like that, I tell the guests "it's really a health drink" and they drink more.
My boss and his wife invited me to dinner, he is making oyster stew which is one of his specialties. I hope he makes a lot! Gotta run and pick up a couple bottles of Prosecco, which should pair well, his wife tends toward sweeter wines like that.

I Like CapCity

While going through the old paperwork for the GTS, I also found the name and address of the woman in Baton Rouge who bought the car new. I did some searching and found a real estate photo of the house from an old listing.

After studying some of my old family photos, I decided to recreate a vintage photo of the GTS in the driveway of the house. This is how an old photo of the car might have looked...

So at @Ddaddys suggestion, I started looking at the idea of putting a 6.1 hemi into the polara. May not dismiss it just yet

Easier to do than people think and not all that expensive. That...and 425 hp and 420 lb-ft torque is nice to have!

What $$ is not that expensive? Your idea and mine might be very different.

Yeah, by the time I buy everything to get it into the car and running, that's including the fuel system, computer all the harnesses etc and the custom flexplate and adapter to bolt into the pushbutton, just under 5 grand!!!! Junkyards around here want 2500 to 3000 just for the engine alone. Hmmm I think i can get the poly running very nice for that.

I’d put the NAG1 in it and just skip the push button tranny.

Yeah but if I'm gonna go that route, may as well do a full on PT build. Remember, the goal with this one is just a cheap, fun family cruiser. Just something to participate in the few local cruises.

Course I guess I could get the thing driving and then start stock piling parts here and there for when the dart is done. I just don't want this polara project to mission creep and end up on a body cart before the dart is finished

Why is it all or nothing? Sometimes I think you only have 2 speeds...on and off.

It's not that. I just have this tendency to overthink things. Sometimes that's good, others it's bad. I like to weigh all my options. I really like the idea of a modern hemi turning a pushbutton. Lots of modern hemi swaps out there but few retain the pushbutton

Since the NAG1 is a cable driven electronic shifter, you could probably connect it to the push buttons and have the best of both Worlds.

Dont let it get to you, my head spins with all the ideas.if i wait long enough a good one comes along. A few projects and thoughts get scattered.

Hey.
Kind of a slack day. -22. Had to move a few things so buddy could back in the woodshed.
Then fired up my 93 chevy,a guy wont stop bugging me to sell it to him.

Ben I think your car is a 72mine is a 74 and a different tail piece. I have pictures and will download them tomorrow evening. The passenger tail light is cracked but you could maybe put the whole tail piece in

I could see an engine going for that around here.
