What percent do you usually overbook at just curious?

We rarely overbook because hotel guests freak out if they have to wait at all for a table. Also we can't do anything about people who show up late for their reservations (because people are on vacation and don't want to rush) and then that table is not vacated in time for people who made reservations later. The public in general doesn't think about all these factors, they just expect their table to be ready when they get there, no matter what.

you all seem a little quiet about the holiday ....didn't your wives or whatever get you a gift card somewhere you like to eat or anything??

I don't think it should be one sided, if I had a husband or significant ....I would think a 12 pack of beer or a car part, or a gift card to something he likes would be good for valentines day. Why is it always the girl gets flowers or something and end of story, doesn't a couple contain two people??

I got yelled at from 7 am till 9pm that count?

Not I... mainly cause I've worked on every type of vehicle, tuners, classics(though I'm still learning the tuning of points but I understand what they are), diesels, tanks, radials...

LOL...Yep but there is no woman involved to that level in my life.

That book I sent you has everything and more of what you need to know on them, A dwell meter is your best friend.

I found my old handheld Cyl kill/balance meter and showed Mark how it worked totally amazed at the thing. That's a great tool and still can be found for under 40 on fleabay.

Nope, just a card. I delivered some flowers to her office and we share a box of Russell Stover's and I'm all good with that.

I love points! Pencil points work well and broken ones don't. Points of interest are always....uh ...shall we say interesting. A 10 point buck is always more fun that a 3 point

they make them without sights people will mount a red dot type sight. I prefer both, set up so you can use both the sight and red dot. If you are close enough for the red dot then your not looking down the sight.

Seems that I have ben rebuilding more dual and single point dist lately and definitely sell more than electronic.

We found that the original points (NOS) are old and do not hold up with the bikes so we use MALLORY 400'S from Summit

I have a 20+ year old MAC Tools ET985 that is a tach/dwell/cylinder canceler. It works great and I like the large analog gauge for setting dwell and balancing carbs. To cancel cylinders, just push down on the momentary switch. Rotate the cylinder selector switch for the next one in the firing order. It also cancels all odd and even cylinders. Picture in a second.
