The intake port spacing is different.
I just need the crank. Its from a van.
Build your own from scratch. Been done before. Or modify existing.

yep, however, I do think an early hemi intake will fit with some minor modifications. Problem is, those are just as hard to find and just as expensive
I think I will. I have a rough idea too. I'll have to get some measurements tonight and draw it up on CAD but I think this would work
the hemi or la? there's hemi to poly ones.
Aren't the poly intake ports evenly spaced where as LA intake ports are pared together. How could you adapt that?

interesting... seems that the LS1 intake spacing is nearly the same as the poly's...
