Stop in for a cup of coffee

-
Tomorrow I need to go inspect my BIL’s apartment and take pics so I can turn in the keys and close out the lease. We had the carpets cleaned this week and my wife finished all the other cleaning.

This is the last thing we need to do to finish closing out his life. We all need to be done with it and move on with our own lives. It’s been a long 4 years and the last month has been the worst of it.

Time to close the book.

On a lighter note...

Pizza is here!

Extra cheese, mushrooms and sliced meatball...

my doggies got some steak tidbits tonight. Spoilt brats. Very seldom they get people food, but I'm here by myself tonight.

My pup always gets a snack.
Try and hide an orange. Just peel it a little bit...
She loves oranges. Sour-even better.

Feeding dogs people food is a double edged sword. While it helps bond to share food, it can also turn the dog into a beggar. Since this dog has only been with us for a 2 months, no people food.

First we get him fully trained, then we will consider some occasional people food treats. For now he only gets his own food and the occasional doggie treat when he exhibits appropriate command obedience behavior.

Tough, but necessary.

When I give my dogs a little people food it's in their bowls. No hand feeding. Don't have a problem with them begging at the table. Mine are pretty well behaved at this point. Pillow trained I call it. lol They have their pillows in the living room and in our bedroom. All I have to do I tell them to lay down and away they go. My female pit, I can whisper to her and she obeys, but she will test the wife every chance she gets. lol Training never ends....give an inch and they'll try and take a mile. It's the humans that come to my house that I usually have problems with around my dogs. The dogs follow me room to room so I'm guessing they're happy with the pack organization. lol

My dog will sit and behave in anticipation of a treat. If she gets annoying, just have to point and she will go to her bed and stay. Then gets snack in her bowl.
More attentive now since her hearing went bad, unless she’s sleeping. Then have to drop a shoe or slam a door, touching her is a little startling.13 years old. Good dog.

Harley is trained fairly well so far, no kitchen when cooking, absolutely no begging. I don't need a leash on her, Pretty much listens to commands, All goes out the door when here real mom shows up (daughter) now the wife not so much..........

Dog wanted out. So i guess it was my turn. Not sure but i think my wife kicked me.
So i get up, reload pellet stove and realized i had indigestion.
Pecan pie, maybe? Or the chocolate cake. Dunno.
So a couple tums and a glass of milk.
Dog came back in right away, ten minutes later she is sleeping on the foot of my bed. If i go back to bed she leaves.

Cant stop thinking about the greasy engine. How did water get in cylinders, with it bein all closed up and air cleaner on??im thinking water seeped in by intake gasket. Will investigate tomorrow. With micrometer on rod journals, there is little wear. Im thrilled. Even bearings look perfect.
