NO ...just got busy discussing a brake problem with someone.

Seems his drums are sticking making noise .....but the more I hear the problem being described ...I think its a bearing

So water issue in 318.
From what little rust is in cylinders,one tiny bit at top of one bore and a couple taps with a block of wood to get it rolling,it wasnt there long.
Also it has been out for a while by the looks of the weeds grown up around it. If there is rust in intake the it came in via carb. As in no air cleaner. Will know when i look closer.
Also, its the same casting number block as my 318 with flat top pistones. Not including the ice one.

That block ...where ever it was sitting....had to have a couple of valves open and that is probably where the water got in.

Just started snowing here. Hopefully not enough to shovel. Even removing a little snow from 2 properties takes a half day. Oh well, I have the time. LOL
 
I've seen enough snow and cold this winter. I'd like to hope we are done, but its still to early to be talking about that. Hope it warms up soon and makes it ALL go away. Its only 49 days until my first outdoor car show.
 
No just came in dame wiper motor fought me the whole way, wrong back would not take the connector, had to take the dam poster off twice, then got it working then realized I left a socket under the cowl, take that off again, then broke a bolt on the thermostat housing, had to fix that dam thermos was wide open, then the wife bitching since 9 about my dog not coming in and she had to let the dog in the garage (now that's loyalty, the dog I mean) then go for a test ride and before she is bitching she wants to come in a few hours, yeah right you woke me at what time? Get her meds picked up fill the truck up come home then I forgot something I did not know I had to get. I will be in the shop sleeping today I think! With the DOG!

Damn! Too much excitement at the Hoppy house today.
 
Think i could find some cheap 3/8” id tubing in town? Nope.
Guess im chopping up some fuel line. Crank swap day. Forgot i wanted etching primer.back to wown before 2:00 i guess
